1. Requirement for Training As KNEC Examiner

To qualify for the current KNEC training examination, candidates should consider the following requirements:

• Interested person must be a practicing teacher in any of the aforementioned discipline.
• Applicants must hold registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or work under the Public Service Commission.
• Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Education from an accredited institution.
• Nothing short of three (3) years teaching experience is required.
• Applicant must not be flagged by TSC or employer for any disciplinary action.
• If employed, a recommendation letter from the head of institution is required.
• No applicant must be above 50 years of age.
• Tutors from training colleges and TVET institution can also apply.
• Applicant must have at least 3yrs experience
• Must have a good leadership skills, communication skills both written and verbal

How To Apply for the KNEC Recruitment

You can apply for the KNEC recruitment 2026/2027 via filing the form. The form application methods include 2 types , which are:

  • KNEC internal employment form – 2B

• After logging in ensure to update your profile, cross check thoroughly to avoid errors. then proceed to save and then click “apply for training” or “apply for assessors vacancies”  .

• Select preferred vacancy, carefully complete the application form, upload and attach copies of required credentials  like National ID or Passport, Diploma etc.

  Candidates who have forgotten their password should proceed to recover by taking these steps.

  • Click on the C2 reset password button
  • Enter your mobile number used during registration
  • Submit and a new password will be sent to you
  • You can check the password on the dashboard after a successful login.
