AKSU 2025/2026 Admission Update : The Akwaibom state university (AKSU) officially announced their 2025/2026 online applications for admission into Nursing, Medical, Health Sciences and other related programmes in the institution. The National Universities commission (NUC) offered an approval for the Akwaibom state university (AKSU) to operate full-time Bachelor’s degree programmes under the Faculty of Health Sciences this academic session, 2025/2026.

- Community Health Science (B. CHS. )
- Nursing Science (B. N. SC)
- Science Laboratory Technology (B. Sc.)
- Environmental Health Science (B. EHS)
UTME Cut-off Marks and Eligible Criteria
The Akwaibom state university (AKSU) has different requirements for Nursing Science and other related Programmes under Health Science.
Nursing sciences (B. NO. Sc)
- Minimum UTME score: 290
- For candidates who choose AKSU as their first choice.
For other Programmes
- Candidates are advised by jamb who didn’t make AKSU their first choice to apply for a change of institution via the portal https://aksu.edu.ng before registration.
- Minimum UTME score of 265.

Is the Registration Portal Open?
The registration portal for the Akwaibom state university (AKSU) 2025/2026 Admission will be open on Monday 5th January, 2026. Qualified candidates who completed the online registration will be offered admission.

- 2025 UTME Result slip
- Birth certificate
- Certificate of origin
- AKSU PUTME Registration confirmation slip 2025.
How to Register
The following steps will guide you through the registration via the official portal
- Apply using the JAMB registration number
- You will pay the sum of #2, 000 for the registration fee. Note, it is not refundable and exclusive of the bank charges.
- Upload required scanned documents in JPG format
- Make sure each size of the file is between 120KB and 150KB- larger files may cause issues during uploading.
Things to Avoid.
The AKSU management has cautioned candidates against scammers claiming admission agents and as such, the institution will not be responsible for such conduct.
